This unique piece has been handmade for Nepenthes London by Japanese designer Midorikawa. Three models were created using different deadstock fabrics.

The outer shell is built from an original gabardine fabric created by Midorikawa. The garment is a three-in-one piece, composed of a short bolero, sleeveless vest and a wrap skirt. Free arrangement of the components is encouraged combining the bolero and vest, for example, creates a mid length coat, whilst the vest and skirt can be attached together to create a longline sleeveless jacket.

Midorikawa's incredible craftsmanship and attention to detail can be seen throughout, with hand sewn details, signature ribbon motifs and decorative buttons featured boldly across every inch of the garment.
